Memorial to Lucy Shevlin, April - May, 2002.

21 years ago today at 16:16pm, my beautiful first daughter Lucy Olivia, came into this world weighing 3lbs 7.5oz. I had no warning she was poorly, I did not know that she would not stay long, but I do know that she blessed my life if only for a while. Sometimes, when I allow myself to think, it feels like I have lived two lives..... my life before and my life after. Not a day passes me by without a thought of my beautiful little girl and what should have been 💔 Fly high with the angels Lucy and celebrate your 21st birthday in Heaven. I told your Nanny Mary you would be amongst the many people waiting to see her. I hope she found you and gave you the hug I asked her to. My life has never been the same since I lost you, but as always I'll celebrate your birth. They say it's better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all... and you are loved so much ❤️ Happy 21st Birthday Sweetheart ❤️
