Lucy & Her Big Brother Thomas When Thomas found out that Mummy was having a baby he was so excited. He had been asking for a baby brother or sister for a long time. He had even asked Father Christmas if he could have one. He loved watching Mummy's tummy getting fat and was hugging and kissing it all the time. He said that he would prefer a baby sister, so that he could always look after her (and so he wouldn't have to share his toys.) Thomas came to both scans to see his new brother or sister and he also came to the antenatal appointments to hear his baby's heartbeat. He was going to be the best big brother in the world!! When you ask Thomas what he remembers most about Lucy, he always says the time that he helped to bath her and how he was able to hold her because she was so tiny. (He also says the time he put some cream on her bum!!) Forgive me if I doubt you Lord, I don't know the reason why You have taken Lucy from us to live with you in the sky You must be short of angels to need my sister so But I had so much to do with her, it was not her time to go I only know you lent her to teach me how to smile But could I not have kept her, for just a little while I will never forget her, shes in my heart forever Look after her in Heaven Lord till we can play together Love you forever Lucy Love Thomas xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
