This is the first year that I haven't been able to come and visit you early on your birthday. I always come first thing and bring your balloons and flowers to brighten up your garden, but I was in uni all day and I didn't want to wait until later on to decorate your garden with your birthday items, so I went and took them yesterday instead.

It's been a strange but good day today, asides from missing you as always. I've been able to laugh with friends and as much you've been in every quiet thought, I've felt happy that I can continue to look back and smile when I think of you and the joy that you brought. Even if it was only for a short while.

I hope that you've had a day partying with the other angels taken too soon. You will always be loved and missed more than words could ever say.
